Cuff Bracelet Repurposed Zipper Flower Red and Purple
Always looking for new ways to recycle, repurpose and upcycle old zippers and other vintage items, I came up with the idea of zipper flower cuff bracelets and made an elastic cuff so it can fit nicely on anyone's wrist. This one I made with Red Hat ladies in mind, using vintage zippers.. red with gold colored teeth and purple with silver colored teeth to hand sew the flower. I made the cuff with red sequined elastic and added a few red sequins to the flower for extra bling in addition to the shine of the metal zipper teeth.
The flower itself measures about 3 inches across.
I love to repurpose and upcycle used items, especially vintage zippers, which I clean and transform into beautiful flower brooches and accessories. Fun and stylish!
I sew my zipper flowers rather than gluing them as I trust thread to hold up better over time. Besides, I am a klutz with a glue gun!
Each one is signed and numbered and comes to you in a jewelers gift box.
On my monitor, the purple part looks blue. I don't know how it looks on your monitor but I assure you it is definitely purple!
